UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 regulation specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that helps an organization to reach its environmental goals.
This regulation is applied everytime a company desires:
planning, starting, improving an environmental management system;
being sure to respect its environmental policy;
showing the conformity to the environmental policy to others;
asking for the certification/registration of the environmental management system to a third structure.
The enforcement of this regulation binds the company to follow the environmental policy legislation and the continuous improvement principle.
Capetta company decided to comform to the UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 requirements in order to contribute to the environment protection and to the pollution prevention, consistently with the needs of its economic and financial context.
UNI EN ISO 14001 regulation shares the general principles of the ISO 9000 management system; for this reason Capetta decided to integrate the environmental policy with its quality policy in order to create an efficient management system to satisfy common requirements, optimizing time and resources.

Developing and implementing its quality – environment management system Capetta also referred to UNI EN ISO 9004:2000 regulation, following the guidelines about effectiveness and efficiency of quality management system, for the continuous improvement of organization performances and client’s satisfaction.
